Hot, Hot, Hot Summer Time, time for a sneaky peek of the up and coming new release

Well its the start of the second week of August and the heat is back here in the UK.  It's already been in the 90's this last few days they are saying it could get into the 100's by the weekend.  So I'm staying in with the aircon on and getting some colouring done.  In just over a week (20th) its release day over at Sweet Sentiment Stamps, and I've started to colour up my stamps. This month we have some lovely additions for anyone who has a journal or just wants some cute images.  There is even something for that grumpy man in your life! We are also carrying on with the flower stamps, although its something a little different this month, but just as useable. 




I still have the others to colour up so watch this space x

New flowers for the realise weekend

As you may know every month Sweet Sentiment Stamps have a flower stamp realise, and this month its called Calming Clematis.  Here I've made a DL card using these stamps, I did do a practise run first to get the colours right using my copic's as well for a change. There is also a watercolour wash in the background just to help the flowers pop. It's time for the new Sweet Sentiment Stamps Release...

Have you been waiting for the Christmas stamps from Sweet Sentiment Stamps, then your wait is over.  What I love about the ethos with Sweet Sentiment Stamps is that they try and do stamps that can be use for other occasions.  A lot of the time simply changing the colours can give a totally different look and feel.  My first card is the lovely Playful Poinsettia, which can be used in so many different ways. Here I've stamped and embossed onto coloured paper, I then cut this out and then I've scanned that in. Extra Digital release for the weekend

Here I've done a mix of alcohol markers and watercolour to make this card, with a little bit of computer magic too.
